The Controls (CT) Distribution v9.2 was published on 2023-10-01. There are 20323 subjects, 20323 of whom have at least one biospecimen on record at the repository. UPDATE: Study 182 (PIs: Duan, Penzes; R01MH106575, R21MH102685) released new iPSCs into iPSC Collection 11.3, but used subjects from this collection to create the biospecimens. Additional IDs have been added to the alt_id file in CT v9.2: dbgap_ids and nrgr_bio_ids for the iPSC biomaterials. Additionally, dx_nimh values have been added to the collection based on clinical review of study-submitted data.

The Netherland Twins Register (NTR) Distribution v9.2 was published on 2023-10-01. There are 11990 subjects, 8540 of whom have at least one biospecimen on record at the repository. The NTR collection includes 1 family study, which includes families that are large and/or multigenerational. UPDATE: Using a previously released phenotypic data file (_phen), additional age_years values have been added to the main distribution file. (NOTE: values in this field represent the median of 5-year bins defined by the study.) Additional biospecimens have been added to the alt_id file using information available in the posted _phen file.

If you have active access to a collection, and that collection gets updated during your approval period, you will gain automatic access to the most recent distribution version. IPSC Distribution v11.2
IPSC versions 10.4 and 11.2 released new iPSCs from 34 subjects already present in the Phelan McDermid Syndrome (PMS) collection, generated by a secondary investigator (Ilyas Singec). Those records are now cross-listed in the iPSC distribution and supplemental files. Detailed information regarding these iPSCs can be found in the Additional Files section on the iPSC download page. In addition to the lines generated by Ilyas Singec, 2 more iPSC samples generated by the original PI for a previously released subject have also been added to the collection release.

All Disorder Collections Updated
NRGR has released updated versions of all existing disorder collections. These releases do not include new subjects. In the SZ and CT collection, there is a new genetic dataset submitted by Dr. Doug Levinson on previously released subjects. The Anorexia Collection has been renamed to Eating Disorders. Contact information within CAPS datasets has been updated to reflect an institutional change. All disorder collections have undergone an overhaul to the distribution file format, including addition of new columns, new values within existing columns, replacement of old values with new values, and updates to descriptions. Mathematical Medicine LLC (MathMed) has taken over the curation of complex diagnostic instruments from what was previously the Battelle Center for Mathematical Medicine (BCMM) at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As of April 5th 2022 Infinity BiologiX LLC, Roylance Stability Storage Limited and Roylance Scientific Limited will be doing business as Sampled. When Infinity BiologiX was launched out of RUCDR Infinite Biologics in 2020, it was done so knowing that the time would be taken to re-evaluate our branding. In Memoriam: Dr. Andrew Brooks, CEO of Infinity BiologiX (IBX)
In Memoriam: Dr. Andrew Brooks, CEO of Infinity BiologiX (IBX), passed away suddenly on January 23. His career was distinguished by outstanding scholarship, service in the field of biomedicine and business activities designed to improve human health. As chief operating officer and director of technology development at RUCDR Infinite Biologics, he led the effort to develop the COVID-19 saliva test, and lead the effort to spin out RUCDR from Rutgers as IBX. He will be sorely missed.

RUCDR Infinite Biologics Becomes Infinity BiologiX
In August 2020, RUCDR Infinite Biologics, one of the world's largest academic biorepositories and a leader in biobanking, bioprocessing, and analytics, relaunched as Infinity BiologiX (IBX) after the sale of its business and assets by Rutgers University. The IBX team, including more than 400 scientists and technicians, will continue to operate at the Rutgers campus. NRGR issued a sub-award to IBX to maintain biomaterial collection, processing, and storage. Read the full press release here.

Bipolar Disorder Dist. 5.0 adds over 3,700 cases for Study 40, most of which have no parents since it was a case-control study design (analysis compared affected to controls). There are 187 trios but pedigree drawings are not necessary for them. Study 40 used a new form of the DIGS, version 4.0, therefore, we had to add new separate DIGS files and documentations.
